নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা: ১৯৭১ সালের ভারত-পাকিস্তান যুদ্ধের  ৫৩ তম বার্ষিকী উপলক্ষে ছত্তিশগড় সরকারের সহযোগিতায় ভারতীয় সেনাবাহিনী একটি বিশেষ অনুষ্ঠানের আয়োজন করে এদিন। প্রাক্তন সেনাপ্রধান জেনারেল ভি কে সিং সোলজাররাথনের পতাকা উড়িয়ে এই অনুষ্ঠানের উদ্বোধন করেন।

প্রাক্তন সেনাপ্রধান জেনারেল ভি কে সিং বলেছেন, "সৈনিকরাথনের মূল উদ্দেশ্য হল মানুষকে ফিট থাকতে অনুপ্রাণিত করা যাতে নতুন প্রজন্ম ফিট থাকতে পারে। কারগিলে পাকিস্তানের বিরুদ্ধে ভারতের বিজয় স্মরণে প্রতি বছর কার্গিল বিজয় দিবস উদযাপন করা হয়৷ যখন আমরা সবাই এক হব, নকশালবাদ স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে শেষ হয়ে যাবে।"
