তথাগত রায় ট্যুইট করে বলেছেন, "কলকাতার পৌর ভবন, শহরের কেন্দ্রস্থলে, সাপ নিয়ে হামাগুড়ি দিচ্ছে! কিন্তু মেয়র নির্বিকার, বললেন সাপ নেই, শুধু দড়ি! তারপর নিজেকে শুধরে বললেন, পুরনো বিল্ডিং, সাপ থাকতে পারে। একই মেয়র যিনি সকল অমুসলিমকে দাওয়াত-ই-ইসলাম ঘোষণা করেছিলেন!"
