তিনি বলেছেন, "বিলম্বিত চিকিৎসা যত্নের কারণে হুগলিতে আরও একটি জীবন হারিয়ে যাওয়ার সাথে, এটি স্পষ্ট হয়ে উঠছে যে প্রতিটি ঘন্টা নিষ্ক্রিয়তার জন্য আমাদের মূল্য ব্যয় হচ্ছে। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি যে আমাদের ডাক্তাররা সুপ্রিম কোর্টের নির্দেশনা মেনে চলবেন এবং আজ বিকেল ৫ টার মধ্যে ডিউটিতে ফিরবেন। প্রতিবাদ জায়েজ, কিন্তু মানুষের জীবনের দাম অনেক বেশি। মানুষের চাহিদা সবার আগে আসতে হবে"।
