তিনি বলেছেন, "শাস্তি মৃত্যুদণ্ডের চেয়ে কম হওয়া উচিত নয়। এটা নিশ্চিত যে এই ঘটনার সাথে তিনি একাই জড়িত ছিলেন না। আর্থিক অনিয়মের সাথে জড়িত কিছু লোক আরজি কর ধর্ষণ ও হত্যা মামলায় জড়িত কিনা তাও তদন্ত করা উচিত।”
