নিজস্ব সংবাদদাতা : ইউনাইটেড স্টেটস ওপেন থেকে ছিটকে গেলেন নোভাক জোকোভিচ। কোভিড ভ্যাকসিন না নেওয়ার কারণে তিনি প্রতিযোগিতায় যোগ দিতে পারবেন না। 

এমনকি মার্কিন যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে তাঁর সফর করার ওপরেও নিষেধাজ্ঞা জারি করা হয়েছে। কোভিড ভ্যাকসিন না নেওয়ার ফলে আগেও বিপাকে পড়েছেন জোকোভিচ। কিন্তু তিনি নিজের সিদ্ধান্তে অনড়।

Novak Djokovic's exclusion from the US Open is utterly ludicrous. In 2021, when everybody had to show proof of vaccination, he could play. In 2022, with restrictions rolled back, he is barred. This is a decision rooted not in science but in pandemic puritanism.
